hellos.. today is such a meaningful day.
Ms Jane Tan is our form teacher for this year,2007. and so happens to be our music teacher.
so, today, we have music.. yays. she let us listen this song called "i'll be okay"
its a piece of background music used in this really old movie named "my best friend's wedding"
she told us the rough idea of the whole movie.. its actually about this girl and her ex-boyfriend, her current best friend. they actually broke up many years ago and made a promise that if by 28, they are still not married, they will marry each other.
and it was already 3 weeks before her 28th birthday, when her best friend(ex-boyfriend) called her and said that he met this gal and they are gonna get married on that coming sunday.
she felt so dejected and planned to spoil the whole wedding as she thought that if she herself cannot have him, then no one else can.
therefore, she tried many times to humiliate her ex-boyfriend's fiancee. one of them was to humilate her in the karaoke by asking her to sing although she cannot sing really well and often goes out of tune.
but in the end, it back fired.she was so sporting and everyone thinks that she was just playing a fool.
one day, main actress could not take it any longer and confessed her love for her best friend and even kissed him.. sweetness does not continue though.. main actresses' best friend(ex-boyfriend)'s wife saw it. and began running. best friend went running after her. main actress ran after best friend.
main actress ran and called her other good girlfriend and said the current situation and ask for help.
her good friend said this, :" if your ex boyfriend is running after his fiancee, then who is running after you? you gotta let it go..."
when i heard this, i felt so touched lor.. hahas.. its true larhh.. let it go and you will feel better..
